Welcome! This page answers the most common questions about using the GMCMI website. If you get stuck, there is a real person who can help, just look under Getting More Help at the bottom.
No, please do not create a new account. If you were a GMCMI member, your account is already in the new system. You only need to set a password the first time you visit.
If you accidentally try to sign up with that same email, you may see a message that the email is already taken. That is normal and simply means your account already exists. Set a password instead, using the button below.
Set your passwordIf the email does not arrive within a few minutes, please check your spam or junk folder.
Set your passwordWelcome aboard. Here is how to join:
After you submit the form, your account is created and you can log in. GMCMI membership is $45 per year. See How much does membership cost, just below, for details.

If it still does not arrive, contact us using the Getting More Help section below and we will sort it out.
Use the email address GMCMI already has on file for you, the one where you receive club news. That is the address your member account is connected to. If you are not sure which email that is, contact us and we can look it up for you.
You will then be taken to your member dashboard.
Log inThis is the same page you would use to set a password for the very first time.
Reset your passwordWhen you are logged in, go to your member dashboard and click the Sign Out button. This signs you out on that device. It is a good idea to sign out whenever you are using a shared or public computer.
For your security, you may be signed out after a period of time, or if you clear your browser history. Just log in again on the Log In page. If it keeps happening right away, try a different web browser, or contact us.
First, refresh the page (close it and open it again, or press the refresh button, which is the circular arrow near the top of your browser). Make sure you are actually logged in; your dashboard should greet you with Welcome back. If you still cannot see member-only pages, log out and then log back in. If that does not help, contact us.
Your dashboard is your personal account page. It shows your membership status and lets you update your contact details, your GMC motorhome information, your Assist List settings, and your password, all in one place.
Log in first. Then open the Members menu at the top of the site and choose Member Dashboard, or use the button below.
Go to your dashboardOn your dashboard, type your new information into the boxes for First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, and Home State. Then click the Save button for that section, for example Save Name.
Important: each section has its own Save button. Make sure you click the Save button in the same section you just edited.
Your dashboard has a section for your coach (your GMC motorhome), including year, model, nickname, exterior color, engine type, mileage, and VIN. Fill in or change those boxes, then click Save Coach Info.
The Assist List is a list of members who are willing to help other GMC owners, whether with advice, a tool, or a hand when someone is traveling nearby.
To join, turn on Include me in the Assist List on your dashboard, fill in your skills or services and any notes, then click Save Assist Settings. You can turn it off again at any time.
On your dashboard, find the password section. Enter your current password, then your new password, then confirm the new password, and click Update Password.
The most common reason is clicking the wrong Save button. Each part of the dashboard (Name, Coach Info, Assist Settings, and Password) has its own Save button. Make sure you click the Save button that belongs to the section you changed, and your changes should be saved.
Go to the Resource Hub, then choose Magazine. You can read the current issue and past issues there.
Open the magazineOn the Magazine page there is a search box. Type a word or topic, for example transmission, and it will show you which issues and pages mention it. Click a result to jump straight to that page.
The Parts Interchange helps you find modern or alternative parts that fit your GMC motorhome. You will find it in the Resource Hub under Parts Finder.
Open the Parts FinderGo to the Resource Hub and open the Assist List. It shows members on a map along with how they are able to help.
Open the Assist ListYou will find them in the Resource Hub under Training Videos. These are recorded sessions from GMCMI events.
Open Training VideosGo to the Marketplace. From there you can browse motorhomes for sale, find vendors, and more.
Open the MarketplaceIn the Marketplace, open the Vendor Directory. It lists shops and suppliers that work on GMC motorhomes.
Open the Vendor DirectoryVisit the Event Calendar to see upcoming GMCMI events.
Open the Event CalendarThis is almost always fixed by refreshing the page. Close the page and open it again, or press your browser refresh button (the circular arrow). If it still looks wrong, try closing your browser completely and reopening it.
You can make everything bigger. On a computer, hold the Ctrl key (or the Command key on a Mac) and press the plus key to zoom in. Hold Ctrl or Command and press the minus key to zoom back out. On a phone or tablet, you can usually pinch outward with two fingers to zoom in.
Try these in order: first refresh the page. If it is a member feature, make sure you are logged in. Then try a different web browser, such as Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox. If it still does not work, contact us and tell us what you clicked.
The site works on phones, but a few pages are easier to use on a larger screen. If a page is hard to use on your phone, try turning your phone sideways, or use a tablet or computer if you have one. Please tell us about anything that looks wrong and we will fix it.
Any modern, up to date browser works well: Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox. Keeping your browser updated often solves display problems. Very old browsers may not show the site correctly.
That link may be out of date. Go back to the home page and use the menu at the top to find what you need. If a link on the GMCMI site itself is broken, please let us know so we can fix it.
Still stuck? That is completely okay, and you are not alone. We would much rather help you than have you give up.

Contact usWhen you contact us, it helps to tell us three things: what you were trying to do, what happened instead, and what device you are using (a computer, a phone, or a tablet). That helps us help you faster.
